We get asked all the time what we mean when we say our Jewellery is Waterproof. Isn’t every piece of Jewellery waterproof? Well, not exactly!

We use and source only the highest quality stainless steel pieces which are 18k Gold plated and then PVD Coated.

PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating on stainless steel is a process where a durable layer of material is deposited onto the steel’s surface in a vacuum environment, enhancing its appearance, color, and resistance to scratches and corrosion.

The process takes place in a vacuum chamber where the vaporized material is then deposited onto the stainless steel surface, forming a thin, adherent coating. PVD coating improves the stainless steel’s resistance to scratches, corrosion, and wear.

PVD coating is considered an environmentally friendly process, as it does not involve the use of harmful chemicals.

PVD-coated stainless steel is hypoallergenic, making it suitable for people with sensitive skin and ears.

Our jewellery is designed to be highly tarnish-resistant, offering superior longevity compared to traditional fashion jewellery.
